We are experts in the application process for companies that wish to be admitted to the Highly Skilled Migrant programme. We have created a valuable working relationship with the Immigration Service (IND) and other Governmental authorities. We have direct access to ensure that the application to become a recognised sponsor runs quickly and efficiently. We can also organise family reunification applications.

During your stay

We can meet your employee at Schiphol airport and escort them to the location you have arranged for them.
We will go with the new expat to collect their residency card soon as possible. We will check the document immediately, and in case of errors we will ask Immigration (IND) to correct the document at their cost. If there are other interviews that your employee needs to have at the immigration services, we will schedule those on the same day and assist and translate as necessary.
Van Lienden Relocation will asssist your employee at City hall and/or the expat centre. The main priority is to acquire the BSN number (Burgerservice number.) This number is necessary to arrange salary payments and health insurance. In most cases, after registration of the relevant documents at the Gemeente ( council office) the BSN number is issued immediately.

The BSN is also required for application of the 30% ruling. This ruling will reduce the amount of income tax and is a priority for most of our clients. Van Lienden Relocation can apply for the 30% ruling on your behalf.
We can assist with finding a suitable bank and setting up a bank account. We can guide your employee through the Dutch banking system and help with internet banking, payment and bank card options. In many cases it is then possible for them to use internet banking to organise their financial affairs, via an English language website.
Health insurance in the Netherlands is mandatory, and we can help your employee to find the right health insurance arrangements for him/her and their family. Some employers run a shared health insurance scheme which they can choose to join, or they may decide to take out their own policy. We are available to advise your employee on a suitable company and a policy that meets their needs.
The 30 percent scheme is a tax advantageous scheme for employees who have come to the Netherlands from abroad to come and work here, the so-called incoming employees. When the conditions are met and the scheme has been granted by the tax authorities in a decision, the the employer will grant the employee a tax-free allowance of 30% of the salary. Employers' costs are also falling. This tax-free allowance is to compensate for the extra territorial costs that the incoming employee is confronted with in connection with the work in the Netherlands.

Van Lienden Relocation can guide you during the entire application procedure. We have 25 years of experience with regard to the application and the regulations regarding the 30% ruling. In recent years we have already submitted thousands of applications with a very high success rate.
